Diagnosis
Like L. pinheyi, the tips of the cerci are bent distinctly downwards, rather than towards each other, and the paraprocts are rounded without slender apical process. However, is larger (Hw 22-28 mm) with more elongate Pt (1.5-2.0 mm) and broad and spatulate tips of cerci.
Habitat description
Standing and often temporary waters, rivers, streams and possibly headwaters and flowing channels in marshes in open landscapes or shaded by gallery forest. Usually with emergent and often aquatic vegetation. From 0 to 2200 m above sea level, but mostly between 600 and 1700.
