Phyllomacromia hervei (Legrand, 1980)
River Cruiser
Type locality: Lamto, Cote d'Ivoire
Diagnosis
Male is similar to P. schoutedeni by (a) size, Hw 32-34 mm; (b) border of hamule at most weakly sinuous; (c) hook of hamule large, single-pointed and sharply back-turned, usually well-visible; (d) costa largely black, not contrasting with Pt; (e) S10 without tooth at base of peak; (f) cerci brown to black, often darker than epiproct (but both dark in colour), and without basal spines; (g) cerci short and straight, taper to spine-like tips (dorsal view). However, differs by (1) labium with pale lateral borders; (2) hook of hamule thick rather than fine; (3) cerci without tooth-like ridge; (4) epiproct shorter than cerci, rather square-ended.
