Porpax sentipes Dijkstra, 2006
Congo Pricklyleg

Type locality: Ubangi, Businga, DRC

Diagnosis

Male is similar to P. bipunctus by (a) anterior side of hind femur and trochanter bare, at most with some scattered short hairs; (b) Abd never pruinose. However, differs by (1) relatively smaller size, Hw 22-26 mm; (2) pale band across frons broken by black in median groove; (3) prothorax with pale spot above coxa; (4) spiracular dorsum often all black, rather than with large central pale spot; (5) interpleural stripe at least as wide as pale stripes bordering it; (6) anal loop closed before wing border; (7) spines in outer anterior row of hind femur doubled at base of femur; (8) pale ring on S6 perpendicular, rather than skewed dorso-apically.
