Type locality: Lualaba, Kabongo, DRC

Diagnosis

Male is similar to R. fenestrina and R. notata by (a) 1-6 cell-doublings in radial planate of all wings, only rarely none; (b) at least outer halves of Hw with dark markings. However, differs by (1) being restricted to Katanga; (2) all wings with broad dark band on tips, this separated from basal dark area by large clear field. [Adapted from Dijkstra & Clausnitzer 2014]

Habitat description

Not known, but probably standing and often temporary waters in open landscapes. Probably often with emergent and aquatic vegetation, and a soft (like muddy) bottom. Inferred to occur at around 1000 m above sea level.
