Elattoneura centrafricana Lindley, 1976
Black-shouldered Threadtail

Type locality: Central African Republic, no locality data available.

Diagnosis

Male is similar to widely sympatric E. morini and E. lliba by (a) found at shaded rainforest streams and swamps; (b) body becomes black and/or pruinose with maturity; (c) frons black, not pruinose; (d) eyes largely dark in life. However, differs by (1) pruinosity confined to ventral corner of mesepisternum and concentrated on S8-9; (2) apical process of paraprocts long, paraprocts therefore about as long as high.
