Type locality: Chibudzana river, Zimbabwe
Diagnosis
Male is similar to C. corallinum by (a) green head and thorax; (b) Abd orange to red; (c) S10 without apical processes; (d) penis with rounded apex and rounded lateral lobes; (e) paraprocts with distinct angular heel. However, differs by (1) labrum yellow rather than green to blue; (2) wings often washed yellow rather than clear; (3) penis with small, rather than large, lateral lobes; (4) cerci narrow, rather than broad, without internal tooth; (5) paraprocts reach as far as tips of cerci. Habitat description
Standing and often temporary waters in open areas in forest, but sometimes also in open landscapes or shaded by gallery forest. Usually with emergent and often aquatic vegetation. From 0 to 1900 m above sea level.
